BECOMING A RETAILER

MINIMUMS + LEAD TIMES
$300 for opening wholesale orders. Reorder minimum $150.
Our candles are poured-to-order and our current turnaround time is up to 10 business days.
Orders comprised of 50 candles or more may take up to 20 business days.

PAYMENT
All orders must be paid in full before orders can be processed and shipped, unless other payment terms or arrangements have been approved.

SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICING
We recommend following the MSRP listed in our most current Wholesale Guide. Novel Candles and its retailers may from time-to-time run specials throughout the year or during holiday seasons and we encourage our retailers to help promote the Novel Candles brand. However, please note that we strictly enforce a 10% Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) for any temporary sales or specials to help protect the
integrity of the line and brand. Permission for special sale events beyond the 10% discount by the Wholesale Account must be requested in writing to Novel Candles and will typically be granted on a semiannual basis. This includes any online retail sales on retailer websites.

WHOLESALE PRICING + MINIMUMS
Our minimum order is $300 for all new wholesale orders, not including shipping cost.
Our turnaround is 3-6 weeks (depending on order size & time of year).
All prices are listed in US dollars. All authorized resellers will receive 30% off the MSRP for orders of $300 or more and 35% off the MSRP for orders of $800 or more, plus the cost of shipping.

LOCAL PICK-UP & DELIVERY
Free local drop off is available within 20 miles of New Orleans, LA. A flat fee for delivered orders will be applied to any local orders exceeding our 20 mile delivery area. This fee depends on the distance from New Orleans. Pick-up from our Mid-City (New Orleans) location is always free. Meet-up delivery up to 20 miles
from New Orleans can also be arranged. All payments are due at time order is placed.

SHIPPING, PACKING & HANDLING
Shipping is not included in the cost of goods. All payments are due before orders are shipped. Shipping costs will be charged to your account at the time of order using the billing information provided on your account unless otherwise specified along with a flat fee for packing & handling. You will receive an invoice at this time reflecting the shipping costs. All orders will ship via USPS from our studio in New Orleans,
Louisiana. Domestic orders usually arrive within 2-3 days. You will be provided with a tracking number when your order ships. Please notify us when you place your order if you would like to pay for expedited shipping. Novel Candles is not responsible for any carrier delays. The retailer is responsible for covering any duties or customs fees for International orders.

TURNAROUND TIME
Once payment has been submitted, please allow 7-10 days for your order to be processed and an additional 7-10 days for your order to be poured, cured, packaged and made ready for pick-up, delivery or shipment.

ONE-OF-A-KIND + CUSTOM ITEMS
If you are in the market for custom orders, please let us know. We would be happy to work with you on this. Please note, custom orders may take longer than the expected fulfillment timeline due to their custom nature. Custom Scent Curation Services typically take an additional 7-10 days to fill. This is an extensive process and we need this extra time to make sure we are able to exceed your expectations.

CANCELLATIONS + RETURNS + EXCHANGES
We request that all cancellations or changes to orders be submitted via email within 24 hours of placing the order. Cancellations or changes to an order after 24 hours will incur a 10% restocking fee. Returns are accepted for damaged/defective items only and must be unused. Exchanges for different scent of the same make/size candle is allowed ONCE within the first 7 days of receiving your order and ONE MORE
TIME within the first 20 days of receiving your order. We have this policy to ensure that all parties are benefiting as well as to ensure the quality of our product. Returns or exchanges must be returned within one week (7 days) of receiving your order. Any refunds due will be issued once we receive the returned item(s). Please note that shipping & handling fees are non-refundable. Used, opened, and/or final sale
items cannot be returned or exchanged. Custom designs, scents and products are not eligible.

DAMAGES & DEFECTS
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival and contact Novel Candles at 504-275-6528 AS WELL AS E-MAIL noveldesignnola@gmail.com within 7 days of receipt of damaged or defective shipments. Please include photos with all damages for our records. All our shipments are insured with USPS by Shipsurance and require photo evidence in order to file a claim. Returned damaged merchandise will be
replaced with new merchandise. Returned merchandise will not be accepted if it is held for more than 7 days after receipt.

DELIVERY WINDOW
Please allow at least 7 days from the time of your order for fulfillment of items. Larger orders may require more time; please contact Novel Candles for information about availability.

BACKORDERS
Out of stock goods will be back-ordered and shown on your invoice. If back-ordered goods are in stock at the time of your next order they will be added to your order without duplication. If you wish to cancel any back-order or not have back-orders listed at all, please inform us. Back Orders will be shipped on the same
terms as outlined in shipping section above.

PACKAGING + DISPLAY
All of our products must be displayed and sold in their original form or packaging. Boxed sets may not be broken up and sold individually. Failure to comply with these terms may result in account termination. Please let us know if you have any questions about the packaging or display of our products. Printable takeaways and other display items are available by request of our Vendors. We want our display to look the best it can look in your store and love to supply anything we can in order to educate our customers & secure a sale.

SAMPLES + BURNER CANDLES
Sample scents are available in melt-form or otherwise wick-less vessels for your smelling pleasure - for free! (Just ask!) or we recommend you purchase a single glass vessel candle ($16-20/ea) to use for samples and display. An extra strength, free burner candle is included with every wholesale order so that potential customers can get enticed without you burning your profits.

PERKS OF BEING A VENDOR
Our retailers get exclusive behind the scenes info for what’s to come with our brand. That means that they’re in the know when it comes to our new scents, changes, updates, product releases and everything Novel-related. They also get the same 30% discount on design services (both virtual and in-person).

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
If all this sounds good to you and you’re ready to place your order, simply shop our store and apply code “WHOLESALE” at checkout on orders of $250 or more (pre-tax). This code will only work one time per customer and a new code will be generated when you're ready to reorder.

Please note: Our website will be undergoing a full update during Spring 2023 to better serve our customers and clients & allow for an overall better shopping experience. We look forward to creating an easier to navigate site with a customer portal for easy reorder & trackable updates.
